was designed by MIS locally to meet the requirements of educational
services operation. The system is based on Oracle State-of-the
Art tools Designer and Developer 2000. It is fully bilingual
and Graphical User Interface (GUI). The system can be also
integrated with other modules from MIS i.e. General Ledger,
Security, and Personnel and Payroll Modules.
TIS mainly covers the following
sections:
- Student
Information:
TIS handles details of student
data like Name, Number, Title, Phone, Address etc.. TIS
also handles Languages , Schedule, Location, Course Name,
Course Start Finish dates, Attendance, Grades, Awards, Recognition,
Discipline.
- Instructor
Information:
TIS handles details of Instructor
data like Name, Service, Service Number, Title, Address,
Phone. TIS also handles Instructor’s Specialty, Experience,
Qualifications and Languages. Moreover TIS Schedule Instructor’s
assignment i.e. Coordinator, Chief Instructor, Instructor
etc…
- Course
Information:
TIS handles details of Course
data like Course Title, Code, Description, Objectives, Qualifies
for, Requested by Date and when scheduled . TIS also handle
changes to Course or amendments and name of individuals
who made changes. Moreover TIS list Instructor’s Guides,
Equipment etc…
- Quality
Control:
TIS handles details of Course
Quality i.e. Course Review Schedule i.e. Start/Finish Dates,
Course Evaluation Schedule i.e. Evaluation types, Preparation
of forms/questionnaires, Testing/Revision evaluation dates,
Instructor reports due, Final grades due etc.., Quality
Control Review Schedule and External Evaluation Schedule
i.e. Identify Trainees, Unit, Location, Personnel assigned
to evaluation team, review action completion date, follow-up
on reports/actions.
