MIS
Security enforces application security - and not at the expense
of flexibility. The
Security module is a solid base to MIS software applications.
Any upgrade or additional module will be built on it, and
the same Security screens will run to secure these new upgrades
or modules.
Major
Features:
- Provide
System Administrators with powerful GUI application to specify/modify
security for the users across the modules.
- Maintain
information about each user, including password and status.
- Provide
the System Administrator with control on the screens and
reports of the modules. For screens, the System Administrator
is able to change their text labels; for reports, System
Administrator is able to change their parameter text and
column heading text
- Provide
the System Administrator with control of error messages
and warnings
- Users
are classified into 3 classes All, Group, User. All is a
super user, Group enable user to manipulate data of other
users in the same Group. User class allows a user to manipulate
only his own data
- Allow
5 types of actions add, modify, delete, query, trail
- Join
the 3 classes with the 5 types of actions to base its security
control on 13 different rights, which combinations are considered
as security levels. The latter may be specified by the System
Administrator, activating a set of rights.
